Everyday people unconsciously stereotype strangers based on their physical appearances. Context Matters aims to illustrate how circumstances are not always as they appear and that we don't always see the true perspective.
Shirts
This project involved us looking into content not form. We will be observing what the words evoke in people. Depending on the context and the person who reads it (race, age, sex, religion etc), the message changes completely. For example the word Pedophile might seem innocent on a shirt worn by a young girl but put it on an old man the message changes. People would be more worried about the old man than of the young girl despite the fact neither are pedophiles.
